Overview

Candair Engineering Co Ltd was established in February 1965 and specialises in the manufacture of high quality unique products including ductwork components for the HVAC industry, parts for flue and chimney systems and other general sheet metal products.

Candair prides itself on providing an individual bespoke service and can supply individual items or large batch quantities of the same product. The materials used include galvanised steel, aluzinc, zintec, aluminium and stainless steel.

Candair has enjoyed steady growth over its 48 years and has plans to expand in order to double its turnover over the next 18 months with a corresponding 20% increase in gross profit

Problem

Candair has enjoyed great success from a continuous stream of orders from its dedicated customers, but has always relied on these existing customers new business gained purely by recommendation. It has the capacity to cater for a marked increase in orders but requires a greater presence on the Internet and a sales strategy that includes proactive selling. It also needs to focus on its core products and find new customers who are currently buying from competitors.

Solution

A full marketing analysis was carried out to identify existing customer profiles, win/loss ratios, new target markets and any barriers to increasing sales. A Social Media strategy was implemented to target selected markets along with corresponding online and offline marketing.

Results and Benefits

Sales have started to grow as a result of winning new customers.
